Camellia oil — known as 'tsubaki abura' in Japan — is extracted from the seeds of the Camellia japonica plant and has been used in Japan for over 1,000 years as a hair, skin and beauty oil. It's naturally rich in oleic acid (omega-9 fatty acid), polyphenols, vitamin E and squalene — all of which deliver lightweight nourishment, deep moisture, and shine without weighing hair down. Camellia oil penetrates the hair shaft (similar to argan oil) rather than just coating the surface, making it particularly effective for repairing damaged hair from the inside.

The Repair Hair Mask is a weekly intensive treatment for damaged hair. After shampooing, towel-dry hair to remove excess water. Apply a generous amount to mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the scalp (which can add oiliness). Comb through with a wide-tooth comb to distribute evenly. Cover with a shower cap and leave for 10–15 minutes — for severely damaged hair, leave up to 20 minutes or use heat from a hooded dryer to enhance penetration. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 1–2 times per week. After several weeks of consistent use, hair will feel softer, shinier and more manageable.
